Netto's voices shape Timegrip's features

Julie Thomasen is not only the Timegrip coordinator for the supermarket chain Netto for the fifth consecutive year, but she is also part of the unique bond that grows between Timegrip (formerly TimePlan) employees and Timegrip customers, who work together to ensure the software runs smoothly for all users.

"To me, Timegrip feels like family," says Julie Thomasen from her office at Netto in Køge.

"I always feel welcome when I call about calendar management and reports. The support staff take the time to explain things to me so that I never feel stupid but rather understood."

In 2015, Julie Thomasen was hired in Netto's internal support department after having worked with Timegrip at ComputerCity.

"I embraced Timegrip like a child. Today, I work 37 hours a week exclusively supporting Timegrip for our internal users."

Efficient collaboration with support

Netto has been a Timegrip customer since 2000, and today, the supermarket chain has more than 14,000 employees across over 500 stores in Denmark. Timegrip ensures that store managers can create work schedules, employees can track their working hours and view their schedules on mobile devices, and the payroll department receives the necessary data for accurate payroll processing.

Julie Thomasen trains store managers and district managers in Timegrip, delivers reports to Netto's headquarters, and creates her own training videos for new users. As a result, she frequently contacts Timegrip.

"The response time from the development department and support team is incredibly fast. I call support or send an email to Flemming or Finn, and the issue is resolved within minutes. Excellent service - even at odd hours."

Timegrip listens to its customers

Netto is a member of Timegrip's oldest customer group, Retail 1, which has met once a year since 2001. At these meetings, Julie Thomasen has had the opportunity to influence the development of Timegrip.

"A few years ago, I suggested a new feature. Henrik, the founder of Timegrip, looked at me and said: That sounds smart. Two versions later, my suggestion became part of Timegrip."

The last time Julie Thomasen attended a customer meeting at the headquarters in Aalborg, she also met personally with the Timegrip Support and Development team.

"I have so much love for Timegrip, so of course, I will attend the 25th-anniversary celebration, and we will continue our great collaboration," says Julie Thomasen.
